Media bias
Ever since Sept. 11, 2001, I have been signed up for MSNBC's breaking news email list. I like getting the little snippets of what is going on in the world. But, here is one small example of what I was talking about regarding media bias.
Today's Breaking News:
Jobless rate dips to 5.5% in July, but only 32,000 new jobs created - The Labor Department says the economy added just 32,000 jobs in July, the smallest gain since December; but the jobless rate dipped from 5.6 percent down to 5.5 percent.
I can see it now: Researcher in New Mexico using funds provided by a bill Bush proprosed finds cure for cancer. But, there is still no cure for AIDS.
They just can't seem to let something good be something good - especially if it would reflect well upon the present administration.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
