Bad way to dissuade those with differing views

I'm just guessing if that were Army of Dad and one of our kids, he would gently put the child down and proceed to beat the shit out of the asshole who did that to the child's sign. For God's sake, it is a little girl. Do people have no heart any more? I wouldn't walk over and take some person's Kerry sign and rip it up - regardless of their age.
Although this reminds me of when Army of Dad and I were on vacation and spent the afternoon at the Broward County Courthouse where they were counting loose chads, dimpled chads, etc. Everyone who goes to Fort Lauderdale, I'm sure, spends their days with Sore Loserman signs at the courthouse. Was quite the experience. I have pictures of people on both sides. It was a lot of fun to participate in. But, it was one of those things that no one was going to persuade the other side, it was just a way to voice our opinion.
God, this country is great. Just wish everyone could respect each other's differing opinions. Judging by this picture, evidently not.

I know that a picture of these bastards making a little girl cry is better than one of me kicking the shit our of that waste of skin, but that would make me feel better!

Everytime a lefty does something like this, it only turns off more people from going over to their side. Its funny...this guy thought he would REALLY make a political statement with his actions, but once the photographer snapped that shot and when Matt Drudge popped it up on his site yesterday, then the lefty's action turned a 180 on him and his cause. It is stunning to see the amount of hate from the left, which usually prides itself on being the "tolerant" party. The neo-Democratic party has turned into the hostile party of intolerance when it comes to other people's viewpoints.
Let's see...if you are anti-war/troops, atheist/agnostic, gay or (the hip left term) trans-gendered, then you are good and your opinion is worth something...if you back our troops and our President in the war on terror, believe that marriage should be defined as between a man and a woman and believe that people should get a hand up and not a hand out, then you are right-wing facist hellbent on setting up concentration camps.
I will admit that I am a conservative AND I have my issues where I disagree with Bush, but that is the way it should be. If we bought everything politicians presented us, then we would be sheep...which seems to be the route the left is taking in this country.
Today I am sure the Kerry campaign is just sick over this photo, as well they should be, but not because it doesn't help his campaign (which it doesn't), but because it is a microcosm of how small factions and their far left ideology have hijacked a major political party and only sends the message that other ideologies will not be tolerated...smart move.
