A must read about war and war heroes

Thanks to Army of Dad for sending me this story. I think it is a must read. It brought a tear to my eye. Having lived in Killeen and covering the education of the children of the soldiers and former soldiers, I know men like this.

I believe Army of Dad knew a man like this. Maybe I can get him to share that story. I met the man once while we were at the mall. Very soft spoken man. He seemed so gentle. Then, AoD told me a little about the man's history and I was shocked. I would have never imagined. AoD - please write a bit about this in the commentary.
