Sick baby

There isn't much worse in this world than a sick baby. Little Bit has been fighting me tooth and nail all morning. She is/was so miserable that I finally called the pediatrician and forked over my$25 copay to make sure she didn't have an ear infection. She was acting so awfully, that I figured she must have an ear ache. Nope. Doc said she has viral pharyngitis. In English, that means she has a really bad cold. He said her throat was really raw and irritated. So, benadryl and tylenol are the cures. She'll get better. Ahh, that was money well spent.

Bless her heart. As a mom, I know she feels bad, but it pisses me off to no end when she pitches these giant fits. She finally went down for a nap. Hopefully, she'll get some peaceful sleep.
