Rainy Monday morning
Will blog more in a bit, but have to run BACK to school to retrieve my oldest child for a doctor's appointment. Has a really nasty spot on his leg that looks like it was probably a bug bite that he picked at got infected. Lovely visual I know.
Hope you weren't eating breakfast or anything.
Will update all in a while.
But, I have to say that while I love my home state ... Texans can't freaking drive in any kind of inclement weather. Good freaking God. Army of Dad, I'm sure, will respond to this because it is an ongoing cause of animosity between us. But, he's right. Texans can't drive in the rain, sleet or snow.

Oh. My. God.
There is no happy medium. They either dirve like an old lady, slow and all over the place, or like they are trying to start a new sport-Pickup Truck Rodeo-spin for eight seconds and see if you survive!

I am with AoD on this one...and I'm a lifelong Texan!!! It lightly rains here and its like that scene on Saturday Night Live when the tele-prompter breaks during the morning news program and the anchors lose their minds without "the words" to read and start to revert back to caveman days...until the tele-prompter comes back on and they return to normal...SAME principal for drivers down here when the rain or snow falls...Drives me CRAZY!!!
