Best of the Blogs

Ok, I have to admit that I was feeling a little sad that I didn't ask someone to nominate me for the Best of the Blog awards, seeing how I did pretty well in the Wizbang Blog Awards. But, I went ahead and perused the Best Mommy Blogs to see who I perceive to be my competition on the web.

All I have to say is that I think I'm doing pretty good. There are a few that are really, I mean REALLY funny. This one is a hoot. Very Mom, its called. There are a few that made me yawn, sorry gals. Some are remotely funny in that 'my life revolves around cleaning toilets and changing diapers' way. But, while I'm a mom and homemaker first, I do have other things in my life to talk about with my friends. Others of the choices have their funny moments, like all blogs.

This one has a Krispy Kreme doughnut cake which looks like great fun. But, go check out the blogs and vote for them. You may find some new favorites.

Psst. The baby FINALLY stopped crying. Now all I hear is the evil laugh of my eldest as he and dad play video games. I guess my Mother of the Year status is gone, huh?

To further cement my revocation of Mother of the Year status, they also have a category of Best of the Sex blogs. I think I'll go peruse those as soon as the child goes to bed. *wink*
