Dolphin saga continues
The dolphin saga continues as now there are rival rescue efforts and evidently one faction is not doing it right and will kill the dolphins if they "succeed" with their tries.

Well, you know if the python floating thing happened in the US, this kid would be a celebrity and have his/her own reality show about how to wrestle/float/whisper to/with snakes.

Sometimes I think the media takes everything too far. They shove it in our face 24/7 until the shock becomes dulled and we grow weary of the endless images of pain and suffering. People aren't enough, now they must include dolphins.
I notice there has been little mention of the idea that some scientist think it is possible this earthquake and tsunami may have been caused by the oil exploration that is going on just off the coast of Austrailia. Where incidently a pod of over 100 whales and dolphins beached themselves almost one month to the day BEFORE the earthquake. Now that's news to me. Yet no one in the media seems to be interested in talking about that.

I think there are many many theories circulating about what caused it, but I don't personally think that anything man-made triggered it. Natural disasters occur and have for centuries.

Still interesting how animals respond.
