Emmitt hanging up his cleats?
Evidently no one knows and Emmitt isn't saying. Radio reports this morning said everything pointed to him retiring and Jerry Jones giving him some "honorary" contract so he could end his career as a Cowboy. As it should be. However, Emmitt told the Dallas Morning News that he wasn't going to retire.
I love Emmitt, but he hasn't been the same for a few years. I can also see why he would be hesitant to give up the game he loves. *shrug*
Either way, he will always be a Cowboy to me.

Tell me how you really feel.
I will always love Emmitt. Whiney or not.

I will say this...Emmitt is MUCH nicer in person than super-jerk Troy Aikman!!! Emmitt actually had a pretty good season this past year...937 yards and 9 TDs...not prime Emmitt numbers, but respectable in a platoon role. It is stunning what a jerk Aikman is in person...unless you are a fellow celebrity or the cameras are on him. Even though Emmitt is not my fave Cowboy of all-time (that goes to Roger or Moose), he needs to retire a Cowboy!!!
