Oh, man, I went shoe shopping today and totally missed all the fuss and fanfare. I guess I'll read about it in tomorrow's paper.
Other than the walking shoes, as a treat, I stopped in the hobby store and found my favorite cotton crochet thread on Clearance for half price. Oh, yeah, the next two baby blankets are taken care of....

I actually watched the Pope's funeral from beginning to end...3am to about 6am central time...it was AMAZING!!! 4,000,000 packed into Rome and everything went off without a hitch! And hey...I'm not even Catholic, but I appreciate the amazing things he did to help end Communism. It was just cool to watch history live! They said over 2 billion people watched this funeral live on TV, video screen or in person...AMAZING!

I thought about getting up and watching it, but sleep got the better of me and I knew there would be highlights on the news.
