Taking a deep breath
I made it through the big event Saturday. It wasn't too bad although I spent more time with the caterers and maintenance folks than I did doing anything else.
This is a shot of my boss' backside as he is addressing media and about to take them on a tour of the new terminal. This is at the north ticketing hall.
The next shot is looking down at the north ticketing hall from the escalators that lead to the parking garage. You can see the USA Today photographer on the left and the local ABC affiliate photographer on the right. You can see this great giant painting at the end of the ticketing hall. It was painted and then graphed out and painted on individual little blocks - like an inch or so big - and then assembled on the wall. It is so cool.
Here are the two other gals on our team.
Here is part of the floor in the Skylink station. This shot looks sort of phallic to me.
Some more of the art mosaic floor medallions.
Here are the caterer guys that I spent most of Saturday with. We talked about soccer, our families, lazy people, etc. We also talked in Spanish a bit. They told me when I was saying things right or wrong. The cute little guy in the front left gave me a little kiss on the cheek goodbye. Very suave and sweet. He's 20, so that is just about my speed, too. My boss was just shaking his head at me. He said I'll be REALLY dangerous after my tummy tuck. He may be right.
We have another big gala event on Wednesday. I'll take a picture of my ass in these black pants I got the other day. They rock. I'll try to take my camera Wednesday, too.

OK..
The orange blue and beige one ... that is a tiny penis threatening an enormous vulva. That is what the artist (sick puppy) intended for it to be. *shaking head*

Alli- you're right. That guy was very machismo and hot. He had a bad hand, but still did twice as much work as the rest of the guys. Very very strong. He could run up four flights of stairs before the elevator would even come get the rest of us. We were talking about soccer and he told me that he doesn't drink alcohol and runs up and down the bleachers at the football field to get stronger for his futbol. Oh my. *fanning myself* The little Ricky Martin kid and the big strong machismo latino. I was surround by testosterone and it was good.
Art is really cool there and Kat, I can take you on a tour if you can get out of work.
Gadfly - I think you're right.
