Cool stuff
As I work on wrapping up my project at the airport, I had a chance to see how the terminals are cooled and heated. These giant chillers are used to create the cold air that cools them and I got to see how they work and transport the chilled water in these pipes in tunnels under the airport. Here is a shot of one span of tunnel that goes for about three miles. Too cool.

I also got to see the dinosaur that ws found back in the 70s when the airport was first built.

Here is the info about it.

Tells you how old it is that Braniff was still around. It was cool to see how stuff works.

Y'know, I could swear that used to be on display back in the early 70's. I remember my grandmother always flew Braniff, and we made lots of trips to the airport whenever "Gigi" (Gallivantin' Grandma) would fly in or out.
I was real big into dinosaurs as a sprout, and while I don't remember the details of that exhibit, I'm fairly certain I ran my grubby little fingers over it many a time.

It is the same one! I wish they'd move it to a place where more people could see it. Now, it is in the CUP offices and no one gets in there. So sad.
