Merry go round
Well, things seem to change from one moment to the next on the mom front. Latest word, NOW, is that mom is going to be discharged to go home and they're just waiting for the doctor's orders. Dad seems to be under the impression that mom will do outpatient therapy. Mom is under the impression that it will be at-home with home health folks doing the therapy. So, who knows what is right? Gees. This is why I hate missing being there when the doctors are there.
So, I don't know what is going on right now. Hopefully we'll know something this evening. I just called the doctor's office to see if she could issue the orders so they can go home. We'll see.

Welcome to the "sandwich" generation.
I have had an ill parent, so I will warn you of the following. The Physicians do not always communicate with one another. Please try and make sure all Drs. are on the same page RE:meds etc.
You are officially her advocate, not like you did not have enough going on.
I am glad she is going home, a good sign.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I didn't want to be a part of this so soon. I expected a few more years before it hit me. *sigh*
