I hope they throw the book at her and all the mommas in jail know what she did to a little kid. I just don't get it. I don't think you understand how horny a 13-year-old boy is. When I was 13 there were a few young, hot teachers I would have done in a heartbeat and considered myself the luckiest kid in school.
But I wouldn't have shtupped that ugly bitch if you held a gun to my head.
If she had been nice looking, however, I wouldn't have been the least bit emotionally damaged. I was thinking nasty thoughts anyway -- from the moment the testosterone first kicked in.

Sadly...13 year old boys don't have the mental capacity to handle a situation like that...it usually takes them until 30 or so.

Gadfly and AoD, yes I know that every teenaged boy would love to bang some older chick, but this is beyond a teen boy getting his rocks off. This is an abuse of her authority and this is manipulation by the part of an adult with a child. Yeah, he may have been a willing participant, but he is 13 and unable to formulate the end results of his actions. There is no way to know what kind of lasting effect this will have on this boy's psyche. Will he ever trust women? Will he ever trust his teachers? I just see this as a child being abused by an adult whom he trusted. This boy will probably have unhealthy views on sex, too. I have a friend who was molested at age 13 and she had all kinds of issues. I can't believe it would be that much different for a boy. Truly.

Had a male teacher done this to a 13 year old girl, we'd be screaming for life in prison and take joy in knowing the treatment he'd be getting from his cellmates... but because this is a predatory woman taking advantage of a 13 year old boy, she gets an 8 year sentence and a 7 year sentence... to run concurrently..what the hell is that??

I'm not trying to say it's OK or anything like that. I know it's wrong and icky and should be punished with a stiff prison sentence. I was just thinking that because the woman is so hideous looking -- maybe this kid already had some emotional issues. Just like, if the victim were a 13-year-old girl, you know she wouldn't want to have sex with a middle-aged, bald fat guy with bad breath. If you find out she did, it makes you suspect that she was somehow threatened or otherwise psychologically manipulated into doing it.
