Gentlemen, start my engine

Wait, there was a typo in that title. Oh no, there isn't. These guys do rev me up.

In honor of the inaugural Dickies 500 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday, I'm posting some of my favorite Nascar drivers.

I love Jimmie Johnson. I wasn't a big fan until I saw an Imax show on Nascar and saw him. He is No. 2 in the points race right now, too.

He looks very blue collar to me, like you'd go over to his house on a Saturday afternoon and he'd roll out from under his car in the driveway with a little grease smudge on his cheek an wiping his hands on a bandanna so he can take a sip of the lemonade you brought for him. Wow, I had that all thought out, didn't I? One more of Jimmie for good measure.

Another cutie is Jamie McMurray, who was the 2003 Nextel Cup Rookie of the Year.

My list could not be complete without the next three guys. You probably guessed who they were already. The first is Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

The next is Jeff Gordon.

And wrapping up with Cutie Patootie No. 9, Kasey Kahne.
