Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

Damn Yankees

My dear husband warned me last night to take my Dr Pepper with me on our trip as not everyone carries Dr Pepper the farther north we get.

*shaking my head*

How can you people NOT drink Dr Pepper? It is the nectar of heaven.

Whoa, finding Dr. Pepper north of the border is not The Lost Cause. I have never had a problem finding it.

    Finding Vernor's? That's another story.

I merely cautioned her that Dr. Pepper wouldn't be a prevalent and to expect the occasional Mr. Pibb. I also said she should lay in her own supplies, just in case.

I know will (not) come as a shock to many of you that AoM became overly dramatic.

You know the only time I ever have problems finding pop is when I head SOUTH! Ever hear of mellow yellow? I swear as soon as I fly out of Minneapolis it's the last time I see it until I get back.

I am such a Dr. Pepper dork that I actually see if I notice any difference between bottlers in different areas of the country...and what is even scarier is that I do notice differences!!!

I miss my boy already...take good care of him!

Well, my first time on a computer since Wednesday afternoon. I'm going through major electonic withdrawls here. We're in Minnesota and you can find Dr Pepper in many places, just not much in the way of fountain drinks. But, we're surviving. It is the Army of Dad family thing going on, so he is loving seeing everyone again.

I have the same problem with Sunkist. And my cousins in Alabama likely have a worse problem in finding Sundrop soda outside the state. That stuff is insidiously good, but sold only in Alabama as far as I know. Everytime we go there we drag back a couple of cases of it.
