Italia
My son will be representing the Italian team in his soccer camp World Cup this week.
Cuz, you know, with the blue eyes and blond hair, he looks SOOO Italian. ;) German, maybe. Swedish. Hell, even Finnish (which was his country last year.)
But, it is a good way for him to learn where countries are located on his world map and to learn about their flags, et.

Ditto to what anonymous and Army of Dad said. Far northern Italy was what they gained from Germany post WW2. Bolzano (where I was lucky enough to visit twice) is pretty much half and half Italian and German speaking and where everyone in Italy thought I was from until I opened my mouth and they caught my accent. (And even then, they always thought I was German, never American.)

Apparently, I stand corrected. My apologies for furthering the stereotype that every Italian looks like John Travolta from old 70s shows.

Just make sure Hot Rod doesn't make any negative comments to any French-Algerians! Then again...they would probably surrender.
