well, all I heard last year was this food is gross!! I sure miss him! want to trade? Maybe I should have held him back ?! Can I still do this? Want to trade?

He has made two friends in his class and they seem to be articulate and ok. *knock on wood* One gives me a bit of an Eddie Haskell feel, but I'll try to reserve judgment.
He told me again how cool the lunches are. But, two other things he likes about school: His cool ID badge and the fact that he can use pen now instead of pencil.
