Creaming my panties
I'm sorry for the title, but I believe in blogging the truth here. I was dying. I LOVE LOVE LOVE muscle cars. Today, my little hometown hosted the Arts, Antiques & Autos Extraganza on the town square. After dropping my honey off at the airport, coaching a soccer game, taking Pickle to get glasses, going to Home Depot and feeding the children, we decided to go check it out.
I was in heaven. There were cars from Model Ts to Corvettes and old military vehicles and convertible Thunderbirds. But, my favorites, by far, were the muscle cars.
Super sweet Dodge Charger:
and, LOTS of muscle cars of all varieties.
and, this awesome Cougar:
Ha. Look at my kid in the background with the Cougar.
Toughman Hot Rod with his motorcycle tattoo. Nothin says "I'm bad to the bone" more than a sucker stick in your mouth, soccer uniform and Adidas slides. Oh yeah, and the Gators baseball cap.
We had fun. It would have been better had the kids not been tired from all the other activities. We only stayed about 30 minutes, but that is the beauty with these events. They're free and entertaining. I would have loved to have stayed for hours and checked everything out, but I didn't want to push it. These kids had been up since 6:30 a.m. and going strong.
I'm going to have sweet dreams about that red and white Dodge Charger. Suuuhhhwweeeettt!!! Maybe I can toss Kasey Kahne in the back seat during my dreams. Where did I put those AA batteries again?

Eric says you've got your pictures labeled wrong. Mr. "classic car know-it-all"
says the first picture is a 67 or 68 orange camaro, not a charger. The second picture is a 67 or 68 yellow camaro and an orange 70 chevelle. The last picture listed as a cougar is a 68 or 69 dodge charger. For someone who can't remember my birthday I have NO CLUE how he can tell what year/make those cars are!! All I know for sure is that those cars look better than the 69 convertible he's working on in our garage!
