Big mistake
My children snagged all my cherry-flavored generic lip balm and my lips were getting chapped. I grabbed some vaseline to use, but that gets a bit messy. So, on a trip to Wally World yesterday, I thought I'd grab some more Chapstick or Carmex.
But, ooooh, ahhhh. They had a display of flavored branded lip balms. There were Jolly Ranchers and Keebler cookie flavored ones. There were Pepsi and Twizzler. But, then I see Cinnabon. Mmmm. I love those million-calorie decadent tasty incredibly artery-closing goodies. So, I thought that the lip balm may quell some of that desire.
Nope, the shit just burns my lips cuz of the small amounts of cinnamon in it. So, that was .92 cents down the drain. I'll give it to Stinkerbelle to waste and go get the cherry-flavored Carmex. Results: Experiment failed.

I am exceedingly fond of the Burt's Bees tinted stuff. They aren't cheap, but they are NICE and take the place of lipstick in most occasions for me. You might try them. They have a bit of menthol in them, so they feel cool and tingly.

+1 for Burt's Bees
I've totally switched to that lip balm. Just emulsified beeswax and peppermint. No nasty taste. You can put some on and then eat a sandwich, you'll never notice a taste.

I like Natural Ice Original, with an SPF15 for the smoothe feel, and the coolish taste.
Although our local Wally World has been out the last two times I'm in there shopping.
I hope I can find some soon, since my current stick is at the point where I have to twirl my fingertip into the top of the plastic tube to get to the good stuff.

You should check out Chaptastic. They have some awesome reviews of great lip balms (that really work!).

I thought I'd be original and tell you to try Burt's Bees stuff, but I see others have beaten me to it. Seriously, give it a try! It's awesome. Also, the Whole Foods brand and Un-petroleum lip balms are fantastic. Great flavors, too.
