I thought this was sweet. This is my son with his best friend on a recent field trip at the park.
The great thing about my boy is that he can be friends with just about anyone. I like this little boy, especially, cuz he is smart, good natured and has a good family. They've been best friends since kindergarten.
This is his other best buddy. They played soccer together and he lives down the street from us. I like his mom, too. She is going to spend Christmas with us while her kids are at their dad's.
Hot Rod has try outs Monday for a club academy soccer team. I hope he makes it. He is very excited about it and he has been missing playing soccer. He has been practicing with dad's team of 12-year-olds, but it isn't the same as playing in games.
