We did our part
After taking me to dinner this evening, dear husband did his part to fulfill the goals of National Ammo Day: to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment known--by voting with your dollars! There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100 rounds of ammunition, that’s 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding citizens! The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the frivolous lawsuits, trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19! It is a nationwide BUYcott of ammunition.
Did you help support the Second Amendment today?

Did my part; 550 rounds of .22 LR and 50 rounds of .25 caliber. No much but I have a great father in law who is providing me with reloads for everything else. What can I say, I'm a lucky guy.

I just made a quick stop and grabbed some practice ammo for the pistols. Only 150 rounds in total, but Hot Rod will get to go shooting when we go down to AoM's mom and dad's place for Thanksgiving. That boy loves to put rounds down range so I imagine I will have to make the most of Ammo Week.

I can't believe what I'm reading !!!
"Buy-cott", ammo-day?? What the fuck ?!?
Pro-arm is bullshit, remember columbia and all that kind of stories.
You ought better open your eyes : buying ammo and supporting weapons-makers, you cause death of your own children !!
As Zach de la rcha said it : "They rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells!!
Weapons : not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I walk tha corner to tha rubble that used to be a library
Line up to tha mind cemetary now'
Think about it !

Super LOL!
Though quoting Rage Against the Machine would be a shot towards Kim du Toit even he would be laughing out loud at this comment.
My children are safe. My children are protected by me and my wife. When seconds count I will respond, not wait minutes for the police to do it for me.
What about Columbia? Sure they had drug wars there, but bombs did more damage than guns. Or are you so stupid that you meant Columbine?
It is a good thing your comment was so poorly thought out and written-saves AoM the trouble of having to delete it. It is way better to leave it up so everyone can laugh at your ignorance.

Sorry, that's just too funny, JaXoM (if that's indeed your real name).
Yeah, Columbia was a disaster -- I mean, its explosion set back the space shuttle program for years -- but I can't see what that has to do with guns.
And if the ordinary folks of, say, Darfur had weapons, their children would be SAFER, as opposed to victims of mass slaughter at the hands of maniac soldiers.
You may want to think about that, if you're capable of thought which doesn't come from song lyrics.
I know: "Violence never solves anything!!!!"
Except for Hitler, and genocide of the Jews.
And slavery -- which ended in the U.S.A. because of... men with guns.
Violence stopped those little episodes quite effectively.

Hmmm... I dropped by to help stomp a troll, but after AoD & KdT got through, there seems to be nothing left but a smoking crater.
