My presidential hopes are down the drain
More sad news today: the only TRUE conservative in the presidential race dropped out. Fred Thompson announced his decision today. I'm not sure who I'll support now. Any good libertarians going to be on the ballot?

While NO candidate "thrills" me, I'm going with Romney for now. I'm pretty devastated over Fred, too. I had so much hope for him. I think a big part of it was jumping in late (the others jump in too early, IMO) and just not a well-managed campaign, combined with lack of funds. That, plus it seems that true conservatives are a minority anymore, and so much of the public is willfully ignorant. I'll admit, until about 5 years ago, I wasn't really into politics, specifically talk radio. But that doesn't explain older people (esp. women who are flipping for Hillara!) and their choices. We're supposed to get "wiser" with age.
So much for that.
Meh. Some of them are just aged hippies.

I just have no idea what I'm doing now. I'm not paying much attention at this point. One of my favorite rock stations was reborn locally, so I've turned off talk radio for a while and I'm rocking out with the music going. IT will probably help decrease the number of grey hairs I've been getting. :)
