Five months and one day
Not that I'm counting or anything. But, in five months and one day, I will celebrate my 40th birthday on board a Carinval fun ship. :) I should be working, but after a grueling four hours of constant work, calling to harass bill collectors for trying to track down a family member by harassing my mother and hobbling around on my crutches ... well, after all that, I decided to go check out all the fun stuff we're going to do on our cruise.
One feature on the website was particularly entertaining - ride the slide. You can take a virtual ride down the twisty slide on the cruise ship or you can just sit and listen to the water splashing and watching people come down the bottom. Army of Dad wanted to volunteer to help out the gal in the bikini and the "cold" gal in the blue one-piece. He wouldn't want them to slip as they get out of the water. Altruistic fella.

Wow! You're like TOTALLY old and stuff. I mean the better word is ancient. Or ancestral. No, vintage. Yes, that's definitely it. You're a vintage antique.

I prefer to think of it like a fine wine - just getting better and better with aging. Trust me, hon, life doesn't end at 40.
