Things I learned today
The G in G-string is actually capitalized in the Associated Press Stylebook. Just in case you ever see it in a news story, it should be G-string.
*shrug* Not that I'm using it in a story, but I was double checking that Great Depression was capitalized. It is.
I also learned that children, left to their own devices with a water sprinkler, will enjoy when the lawn gets muddy. However, what they do not enjoy is mom hosing them off before they're allowed in the house.

Actually, I think that entry refers to the G-string in, say, guitars.
The g-string (bikini) is not capitalized in the Times style book, last time I looked.

Ack, the Times. What do they know?
LOL
Of course, this is a 10-year-old AP stylebook, too. I have no idea where in the black hole of my house the most recent AP Stylebook slipped into.
