One step forward, two steps back

My pity party keeps fluctuating from feeling upbeat and positive one moment to feeling like poop the next.

We had attended some sales pitch event to get a free trip to Vegas. We were supposed to go in February, but due to me being off by one day on the timing of the trip in my paperwork, they voided our trip.

I've wanted to see and do Vegas for about seven or eight years now. One of the things that has really drawn me to wanting to go has been the Star Trek: The Experience attraction. Well, looks like I'm going to miss out on that, too. It is closing in September.

Seems really silly, but I am so terribly disappointed right now. I really wanted to go. I've heard it is really cool.
